Kaley from Kansas photographs editorial work & portraiture; she is drawn to an ever-changing subject and environment. Currently, her work reflects a cinematic approach — embracing the true storyteller within her —  documenting the lives of her subjects, bringing raw emotion and the “every day” mundane moments to life in the most honest way that she can.

She is inspired by tonality, movement, the 70’s, interior design, mid-century architecture, a desert landscape, touch, minimalism, foggy days, an abundance of fabric and most importantly, love.

A client recently described her work as “capturing moments that pass between people that were never meant for anyone else. You find subtle tenderness and touch and holding and closeness - it’s true intimacy. There is also a sense of adventure and promise in your photos. It’s not that they timeless - it’s that they feel like they have direction and weight and are headed somewhere.”
